The Moreland Cultural Arts Alliance presents an evening exploring one of the most controversial authors of the twentieth century and his contentious relationship with Hollywood. As one of the most popular novelists of his time, Caldwell felt his stories were corrupted as the tales were taken to the silver screen. Enjoy an evening viewing excerpts from some of these films as critics and actors compare the original written works with the screen versions in a lively dramatic fashion. Light refreshment served. Doors open at 6:30pm, show begins at 7pm. Admission is free, refreshments are available for purchase. The evening takes place at the Blue Moon Cafe located at 7 Main Street Moreland, Georgia 30259.
